Description

The new Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter builds on the X-Bolt’s reputation for precision and dependability while bringing a host of thoughtful enhancements that elevate its performance and handling. Clad in a satin-finished walnut stock with a non-glare surface, this rifle blends timeless aesthetics with practical design, while its sporter contour barrel keeps the rifle light, balanced, and easy to carry through dense woods or long treks. The action is bedded and the barrel is free-floated for consistent shot-to-shot accuracy, and the redesigned bolt—with expanded guidance surfaces and an ergonomic knob—provides smoother, more reliable cycling. Out of the box, the three-lever DLX trigger delivers crisp, no-creep triggers at a factory preset of 3.5 pounds, adjustable to 3.0. Every element—from the matte-blued receiver and low-profile floor plate to the 1¼-inch Inflex recoil pad—works in harmony to offer a refined, accurate, and rugged rifle built for modern hunting.
