Description

Description

The LMT Defense Specwar MRP-L Upper Receiver 11.5″ M-LOK is a premium, mission-driven upper assembly engineered for shooters who demand maximum rigidity, modularity, and real-world performance from the AR-15 platform.

Built around LMT’s patented Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP), this upper receiver and handguard are machined from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum, creating an exceptionally strong and rigid structure. This one-piece design enhances accuracy and durability while providing a continuous, uninterrupted Picatinny top rail for optics and aiming devices.

Designed in collaboration with specialized military end users, the Specwar configuration extends beyond traditional CQB-length uppers to provide increased rail space and improved ergonomics. The 11.5″ upper length is optimized to pair with 12.5″ barrels, offering a balanced setup that maximizes control and accessory placement without sacrificing maneuverability.

Featuring full M-LOK compatibility along the handguard, the platform allows for flexible attachment of lights, lasers, grips, and other mission-essential accessories. The extended rail system also improves stability for laser aiming devices—critical for maintaining zero in demanding environments and low-light operations.

The MRP system incorporates LMT’s quick-change barrel capability, secured by dual locking bolts that allow users to swap barrels rapidly with minimal tools while maintaining consistent return-to-zero. This adds unmatched versatility, enabling caliber or barrel length changes in a matter of minutes.

Finished in black hard-coat anodizing for enhanced corrosion resistance and long-term durability, the Specwar upper is designed to perform under hard use. Proudly made in the USA, the LMTL7ZIA delivers a battle-proven combination of strength, adaptability, and precision—making it a top-tier choice for serious AR-15 builders and professionals alike.
