Savage Arms Axis XP Combo 223 Remington Rifle 22″ Matte Black 32001

Description

Description

The AXIS XP builds on a proven platform by refining ergonomics and adding shooter-friendly features that help deliver tack-driving accuracy with every shot. Precision button-rifled barrels and thread-in headspacing work together to ensure consistent chamber alignment and repeatable barrel harmonics, which translates to reliable group-to-group performance and simplified maintenance or barrel replacement when needed. The rifle’s improved stock geometry and overall balance make it comfortable to carry and steady to shoot, helping the shooter get on target faster and maintain a consistent sight picture through extended strings of fire.

Attention to control and handling is evident in the redesigned bolt handle, which sports a sleek, ergonomic profile that improves leverage and offers a secure grip in wet or cold conditions or when wearing gloves. That small but meaningful change makes cycling the action smoother and more positive, especially during rapid follow-up shots or when operating under adverse field conditions. The AXIS XP also comes optics-ready out of the box, with a factory-mounted Weaver 3–9×40 scope and a two-piece Weaver-style base, saving time at the range and providing a matched sighting system for immediate use.

Practical details like a detachable magazine and well-considered control placement round out the package so the rifle is useful across hunting, target, and general-purpose roles. Taken together, the AXIS XP’s blend of precision barrel work, durable headspacing, refined ergonomics, and ready-to-go optics make it a versatile, shooter-friendly option for anyone seeking accurate performance in the field.
