Savage Arms Axis XP Combo 270 Winchester Rifle 22″ Matte Black 32010

Description

Description

The AXIS XP refines a proven bolt-action platform with improved ergonomics and precision manufacturing to deliver repeatable, tack-driving accuracy. Precision button-rifled barrels combined with thread-in headspacing create a harmonized barrel-to-receiver interface that supports consistent barrel harmonics and tight group-to-group performance, while the revised stock geometry helps the rifle mount naturally for a comfortable, consistent sight picture. These features make the rifle both easier to shoot well and simpler to service or rebarrel without sacrificing point-of-impact repeatability.

Controls and handling are thoughtfully upgraded for real-world use. The bolt handle has a sleek, ergonomic profile that increases leverage and gives a secure grip, making bolt manipulation more positive and comfortable in wet, cold, or gloved conditions and helping with faster follow-up shots. The rifle ships optics-ready with a factory-mounted Weaver 3–9×40 scope, a two-piece Weaver-style base, and an included magazine, so it arrives ready to use straight from the box.
