Description

Description

The Springfield Armory Ronin® AOS in .45 ACP blends the heritage of the classic 1911 with enhancements designed for today’s shooters. Its construction emphasizes strength and longevity, featuring a forged carbon steel slide, a forged stainless steel frame, and a hammer-forged barrel built to endure years of use. Equipped with a full-length 5-inch barrel, traditional recoil spring system, and barrel bushing, it stays true to proven 1911 performance. Modernized through the AOS optics system, the Ronin accommodates plates compatible with popular red dots such as RMR, Shield, Delta Point Pro, and Docter. Each plate incorporates a rear sight to maintain consistent sight height, provide a natural sight picture, and allow for clear co-witnessing with mounted optics. The result is a versatile .45 ACP sidearm that combines classic craftsmanship with modern adaptability, ready for both everyday carry and long-term reliability.
