The SPYDERCO Byrd Meadowlark Folding Knife features stainless steel handles with spine and choil jimping and a four-position clip that supports all possible carry configurations. The knive uses 8Cr13MoV stainless steel for the blade, which is similar to AUS-8 in its properties, performance and function. 8Cr13MoV steel contains both molybdenum and vanadium. Molybdenum enhances strength and hardness, vanadium its wear resistance and toughness.
