Description

Description

The Shadow Systems XR920 Elite 9mm Pistol (Model SS3039CA) is a high-performance crossover handgun engineered to deliver duty-grade reliability with enhanced ergonomics and premium features. Designed as part of the Elite series, this model pairs a 4-inch compact slide with a full-size frame, providing superior control, increased capacity, and improved recoil management in a versatile platform.

Chambered in 9mm, the XR920 Elite features a 4-inch spiral-fluted bronze barrel, offering both visual distinction and functional benefits such as reduced weight and improved heat dissipation. The slide is optics-ready, allowing direct mounting of popular micro red dot sights without the need for adapter plates, giving shooters faster target acquisition and greater precision.

Built around a durable polymer frame, the XR920 incorporates Shadow Systems’ interchangeable backstrap system, enabling users to customize grip angle and fit for optimal comfort and natural point of aim. The aggressively textured grip, extended beavertail, and undercut trigger guard promote a high, secure hold, enhancing control during rapid fire.

The pistol utilizes a striker-fired action with a flat-faced aluminum trigger, delivering a crisp break and tactile reset for consistent shot placement. Elite models also feature front and rear slide serrations, window cuts, and lightening features, reducing slide mass for improved cycling performance and faster follow-up shots.

Equipped with tritium front night sights and a blacked-out rear sight, the XR920 Elite ensures quick sight acquisition in both bright and low-light conditions. The platform typically supports 10-round magazines for California compliance, with standard capacity options available where permitted, while maintaining the full-size grip for enhanced handling.

Additional features include an integrated accessory rail for lights or lasers, a corrosion-resistant nitride finish, and tight tolerances that contribute to the pistol’s accuracy and reliability.

Combining premium materials, advanced ergonomics, and optics-ready capability, the Shadow Systems XR920 Elite SS3039CA stands out as a refined, duty-ready 9mm pistol built for shooters who demand performance, customization, and distinctive styling.
